MATERIALS NEEDED (SCRAPPY VERSION):

  • 10 fat quarters of assorted prints for petals*
  • 4 3/4 yards background fabric
  • (4) 1/2-yard cuts assorted green prints**
  • 2/3 yard binding fabric
  • 7-1/4 yards backing fabric
  • 86" x 86" batting

MATERIALS NEEDED (SIMPLIFIED VERSION):

*Substitute 1 yard of white fabric (flower tops) + 1 yard of white floral fabric (flower bottoms) in place of 10 fat quarters.
**Substitute 1-3/4 yards of a single green print in place of (4) 1/2-yard cuts.

TOOLS & SUPPLIES:

  • "Background Arc" and "Flower Wedge" paper templates (included)
  • Template plastic or cardboard
  • Small rotary cutter

Colorful version uses BasicGrey's Grunge in "Picnic" (#30150 175) for the background.

Simple version uses BasicGrey's Grunge in "Vanilla" (#30150 91) for flower tops and "Grey Couture" (#30150 163) for the background.
